We are on the hunt for a Social Media/Marketing Extraordinaire!

This is a newly created role designed to focus our marketing and social media efforts in order to amplify our brand. You will be working closely with our Founder and Director, and the broader team to refine and execute to our marketing strategy.

There’s a lot to do, but with the right focus on efficiencies and streamlining you’ll have it ticking along in no time!

This is a part time role, working flexibly across the working week, initially offered on a fixed-term contract.

The key areas of focus for this role will be:

Get Social

  • Ongoing management and optimisation of all social media platforms
  • Amplifying and repurposing content that’s produced by the team
  • Ensuring content is posted consistently across our platforms (in line with KPIs)
  • End to end management and distribution of the podcast
  • Publishing blogs to the website and distributing across social media

Creative Flair

  • Creating and updating documents, presentations and collateral
  • Image and video editing
  • Visual content development for social media and marketing campaigns
  • Research and drafting copy to for social media and marketing campaigns (then obtaining feedback and input from the team for the final product)

And the rest... 

  • Formatting, populating and scheduling  EDMs
  • Updating and optimising our websites
  • General administration that falls into the marketing and social media scope!

About you:

You pride yourself on your attention to detail and conscientiousness but at the same time are able to be agile and work quickly. Being able to keep lots of balls in the air is essential for you to thrive in our organisation! You can work autonomously but can easily take direction. You’re not afraid to ask questions to get the right brief. You have a creative eye and are curious in nature (particularly to create content that resonates with our audience!).

Must-haves for the role:

  • Demonstrated experience working within a Marketing/Social Media Coordinator role
  • Experience with social media management platforms and tools, primarily LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite products and able to navigate Canva
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite as well as Keynote
  • Video/Audio editing skills (iMovie, Audition)
  • Familiar with Website Design (ideally WordPress)
  • Experience with Podcast production would be a plus

We work flexibly, with dedicated days in our office (within the HUB coworking space in the Brisbane CBD) and at home (or anywhere that works for us!).
