Brisbane Airport Corporations vision for the refurbishment of the International terminal is to offer passengers the feeling of Queensland as they experience the space. This concept has been carried through every element of the terminal including the bathrooms. The modernisation of these spaces included the installation of large format digitally printed images on glass, positioned prominently to introduce colour and a sense of place.
Each bathroom has a different image evoking the feeling of Queensland, ranging from the sea life of the Great Barrier Reef through to rainforest canopy of Fraser Island.
