COVID-19 has disrupted our lives and our livelihoods, and the wide-ranging personal, social and economic impacts of this pandemic will continue to be felt for many months and years.
Just like flattening the curve of the pandemic, our governments and researchers have already been undertaking mapping as to how to best prevent the predicted rise in mental health issues.
Much like the “two-pronged approach” Australia has used towards the virus, the focus for mental health is to focus on preventing new cases of mental disorders and increasing the capacity of the current mental health-care system.
