From the moment the lift door opens you are transported to a space that matches the corporate impressiveness of their data centre. Integrated leading edge technology is embedded into the workplace, designed with a vision of the future.
The site posed a challenging central side core which limited natural lighting to the lift lobby and the potential to split the workforce. This depth was embraced enhancing the “data centre-like” nature of the reception, with the café and secure NOC at adjacent ends, flanking the workforce, with direct access to the desks.
The materiality is sympathetic to the aesthetic of the data centre with monochromatic finishes, perforated metals and leathers, and dimly glowing lights encouraging a sophisticated industrial reference.
With a key focus on encouraging collaboration, the cafe creates a collision space to connect all area’s of the business.
